Cool And Fantastic Games For Your iPhone!

Posted by Thom Yarbrough under iphone applications on Thursday Oct 22, 2009

There’s really very little chance for you to get bored when you have a phone like the iPhone in your hand. So what happens when you want to play a game but you’re on your own? There are loads of games in iTunes which are meant for solitary play and although these might not be as fun as group games using the iPhone, they still cut the mustard.

Who Said That?

If you’re a movie buff and you can easily recall famous one liners, then play this fast paced game where you have to identify the movie by the dialog. Chances are that you might not get it right and you will quickly understand just how good(or bad) you actually are! The game also has a bonus round where you can select how many you think you will get right.

Analyze Handwriting

The fascination from handwriting analyses is never too old and never dies out. It’s amazing how so much about a person’s personality can be found out with a few squiggles on a piece of paper. With this app, you can now see for yourself if all that they say is true or not. All you need to do is download it and write down the sentence or word that it asks you to, with your finger or an appropriate stylus.

Free Letter Bug

Even those who proclaim that they cannot stand word games will be transformed when they play this game. It’s great fun and helps to improve your vocabulary as well as spelling ability. Letters are scattered on the screen in layers, and the top most one is the active layer from which you have to choose the letters and make words, spelling them correctly. More points for long letters and the faster you do, the better your score will be. You can also shake the screen to scramble the letters.

Oh my word!

Is this game cool or what! And what’s better is that it’s not even half as gory as some of the hangman games that you’ll find on the iTunes store. It may be far easier on the eyes, but this game is definitely not easier to play. Here, you get two words and a blank word in between, what you need to do is guess the blank word with help of the two words given and also whether it comes before or after either of these words. You need plenty of logic and lateral thinking for this game, have fun!

iPhone’s Range Of Amazing Games

Posted by Thom Yarborough under iphone applications on Tuesday Oct 13, 2009

It’s one of those moments when you’re sitting around with your friends and there’s absolutely nothing to do. All you need to do then is turn to your iPhone for some inspiration and you’ll find tones! You won’t for a second regret taking a look that all the new games t hit the iTunes store because there’re lots of games here with which you can plenty of fun with our friends!

Doodle Dots

We’ve played the classic dots game where we need to make the most number of squares by connecting dots and that’s how we beats the opponent. Now you can do that on your iPhone in the Doodle Dots game that is based on the same principle. Play this game with a friend and make as many squares as possible with a colour of your choice. And quite obviously, those with the most squares in their preferred colour win! This has more, with 3 different board sizes and difficulty levels which makes the game even more fun to play!

Fly Must Die

Idle pursuits are all you plan to spend your day on, and then this game is perfect for you. In this game you have to kill flies with chopsticks. Now that is nowhere as absurd as you think it is, because the rules of the game entail that the fly must hit the exact tip of the chopstick or it will fly away. You can score different points by killing different coloured flies.

Knock Knock Zombies

If you have brats at home who harass your life away wanting to get their hands on your iPhone, because they re fascinated by the way you keep tapping on it, then this game could either repel with or get them to love it even more. Although, the latter seems more likely! With this game, every time they tap on a crypt door, a scary zombie screams out of the door, each time a different one. It sounds scary but that isn’t the case really!

Push – Push

Though this game is a bit off limits for children, adults can have fun with it. Here, a target is presented and a skilled assassin [you] has to kill this target by throwing home appliance on the person! T’s not that simple because the targets are constantly moving and you might end up hitting a civilian instead and then the mission only gets tougher.
