I just got an iphone 3g and got it with turbo sim and i also got it jailbroken and i tried using itunes and it says that the sim in the iphone is not supported so i just want to know how is it that i can use it.Thanks.
If you get a message like that with iTunes that means phone is not unlocked.
it still looking for specific carrier !! (wereu able to make calls ??)
try using PwnageTool (its available for mac, if u dont have one use ones who has it.. just one time thing)
of try QuickPwn (for windows)
this PwnageTool is free and it replaces your Bootloader so that your iTunes wont look for the specific carrier !!
detailed procedure you can find it here !!

I have a first generation iPhone 1.1.4 and usually install my applications with Installer. I use Tmobile, and I was wondering if i can put applications on my iPhone through iTunes without it locking?
the answer is no, to install from the app store you need at least version 2.0, which is a full upgrade, your phone will relock. The good news is, there is unlock for first gen 2.0 to 2.2 software. You will be able to upgrade, unlock, use the appstore and cydia (no one uses installer anymore, just cydia now). Google pwnage, this help you upgrade, unlock and install cydia. Google PWNAGE

Well i heard that a SMS message with a little square could apear and you should turn off your phone so they won’t take control over your iPhone. If this is true for how long should i turn it off? Is the virus only effecting July 30 or is it until they find a "cure"? But the most important question for how long should i tun off my phone if i recieve this message on my iPhone?
Don’t get paranoid with this news, every gadget is vulnerable to hackers. And no, the chances of you getting hacked are under 5%. Why? Most hackers have better things to do than to target you and steal your itunes password.
Right now, anyone could hack your computer and steal all your vulnerable information. Just ignore the news and carry on like nothing ever happened because trust me, nothing will happen to you or your phone.
Plus, what if your phone did get "hacked", what would you risk? I’m pretty sure that you don’t keep your social security number, or credit card numbers on your phone. So, what could you risk? Nothing.
